TinTin++ offers features including but not limited to macros, triggers,
tick-counter features, multiple connects, color, complex aliases,
actions and tab completion. This client also was initially designed
for DikuMUDs. There is a Win9x/NT
version but TinTin++ is known for being a vt100 text client for
UNIX shell accounts.
Tinyfugue offers features including but not limited
to regexp hilites and gags, auto-login, macros, line editing, screen
mode, triggers, cyberportals, logging, file and command uploading,
shells, and multiple connects. This client was initially designed
for TinyMUD which TinyMUSH
zMUD seems to be the most popular Windows 9x/NT
MU* client. It has a large variety of features including but not
limited to automatic mapping, database of items, chat module, plugin
support, programmable buttons (ie-exits), connection wizard for
MU* lists, character database, multiplaying with different chars,
ANSI/VT100, status line, history, advanced windows, macros, scripts,
triggers, variables, aliases, functions, tab completion, logging,
timers, auto login, auto reconnect and proxy support. Zuggsoft has
also optimized this client to be fast and performed comparisons
with zMUD and other clients and posted the results on their website.
WinTin is a windows derivative of very popular
TinTin++. WinTin was ported from TinTin++ v1.5pl4. It supports
and extends the TinTin scripting language. It is a graphical client
with multiple windows, scrollback, command history and other features.
It is a free and open source application.
SimpleMU is a universal windows client. It can
be used with MUSH, MOO, MUCH and MUSE MUDs. This client is fast
and small. It supports triggers, customizable GUI, aliases,
gags, color highlighting, logging, mail editor, soft-code uploading,
speed walking, and MUD client compression protocol.
ELF offers features including but not limited to full-mouse
support, macros, vars, aliases, triggers, sounds, logs, scroll-buffer,
full ANSI color support, user-definable windows, encryption,
wizards, support for multiple instances, and automatic TICK
recognition for faster HP/MANA/MOV again. This software comes
from Italy and has received a five star ranking on Tu-Cows.

GMUD offers features including but not limited to separate input/output
windows, multiple hosts in different windows, scroll-back buffer,
sound events, macros, triggers, aliases, active host window, selectable
fonts, logging, command stacking, speed walking and ANSI color support
although does not support VT100 or ANSI cursor positioning
Savitar offers features including but not limited to
mud lister, ansi, html tags, auto-login, triggers, variables,
speech, macros, hot-keys, auto-text, uses XML, split screens,
line recall, multi-sessions, file upload, and capture. This
software has received a five star rating on Tu-Cows.
